Our
houses are a few minutes away by car from beautiful Cortona, Etruscan
town, rich of art, with breathtaking views, romantic lanes and
unforgettable landscapes.
Roads and railways are easily connected to the most important cities of
central Italy: Perugia, Firenze, Siena and Arezzo; and even to smaller
jewels such as Pienza, Montepulciano, Assisi, Gubbio and Lake Trasimeno,
one of the biggest in Italy, with its beaches, isles and small historic
centres set in a still uncontaminated natural environment.

If you’re arriving from the A1
Rome-Milan you should take the Val di Chiana exit.
Follow the superstrada Bettolle-Perugia and exit in the Cortona-Foiano
direction.
Follow the signs for Farneta, Camucia and once you get to Cortona don’t
enter the town but follow
The walls surrounding it from outside and keep going for the”strada
provinciale 34 Umbro-Cortonese”.
Keep going for another 8 km, and without leaving the main road you’ll get
to Portole; 2 km after that you’ll find our Agriturismo which you’ll
recognize by the wooden sign and the fence surrounding it.
If you’re coming from the E45 you should take the Trestina exit and take
the “strada provinciale Umbro-Cortonese 34” and keep on to it for about 20
km.
You will get to Teverina, a small village.
Don’t leave the main road, after 3 km you’ll you’ll get to “Il Cerro”
which you’ll recognize by the wooden sign and fence. |
